Christopher McMichael is a cultural critic and political commentator whose work has appeared in New Frame, Mail & Guardian, Daily Maverick, Antipode, and Capital & Class. This event will include a response by Dr Irwin Kinnes of the Centre for Criminology at UCT and the discussion will also be joined by Jeremy Vearey, former Deputy Provincial Commissioner of the Western Cape SAPS and author of the book ‘Into Dark Water: A Police Memoir.’
